Winter Paddle Battle Junior Doubles Pickleball Tournament

LEVELS

Beginner (2.5): This player has limited experience. Can sustain a short rally with players of equal ability. Basic ability to keep score.

Intermediate (3.0): Understands fundamentals. Is learning proper court positioning. Able to hit a medium paced shot. Lacks depth, direction, and consistency

Advanced (3.5+): Moves quickly towards the non-volley zone (NVZ) when opportunity is there. Acknowledges difference between hard game and soft game. Is learning proper court positioning.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Players must know how to serve and have an understanding of the rules of the game. Official rules here.

2. Players must arrive 30 minutes before start time to check in.

3. Players are responsible for calling all the lines on their end of the court.

4. The server may not serve the ball until the entire score is called.

5. Parents and spectators CANNOT interfere during match play to help with line calls or scoring. Any questions or disputes will be taken up with the tournament director or referee.

6. Tournament schedule will be posted 48 hours before tournament start date. (December 3rd)

7. Format will be round robin. Additional formatting with be posted 48 hours before tournament start date.

8. Full refunds before November 27th. No refunds will be issued after November 28th.
