Last year, we came together to honor Viva — our sweet black Lab who brought so much joy, loyalty, and love into our lives. What started as a tribute has grown into something even bigger: a community event that truly makes a difference for rescue animals in our area.
This year marks our Second Annual Viva La Pickleball – Play for Paws Fundraiser, and we can’t wait to do it again.
In the past year, we even adopted our newest pup, Luna, from Haven Humane — a full-circle reminder of why this event matters so much. But this event isn’t just for the dogs — it’s for all the paws. 🐶🐱
We’re excited to share that Riverview is officially joining the cause this year, helping us expand our impact even further.
Half of all proceeds will once again go directly to Haven Humane Society to help rescue dogs and cats find their forever homes.

💰 Entry Fee: $40 per person
❤️ 50% of proceeds donated to Haven Humane Society
⏰ Start Time: 8am–4pm
(Each division will receive its specific start time after registration closes.)

🎾 No gender divisions – Everyone plays together
📝 Sign up individually – No partner needed
🔄 Doubles Scramble – Rotate partners within your pool
🏆 Top individual scorers win prizes
Plenty of play. Lots of laughs. And a meaningful cause behind every point.
🐶🐱 Adoptable Pets On-Site
From 10:30am–12:30pm, meet adorable rescue animals looking for their forever homes.
💙 Play for a Purpose
Every dink, drive, and drop shot helps support the care of rescue dogs and cats in our community.
🥰 Community, Animals & Fun
Whether you’re ultra-competitive or just here for the vibes, this is one of our favorite events of the year.
Starting April 1st, Riverview will have donation drop boxes in the lobby so members and guests can contribute even if they can’t play.
We’re collecting:
• Blankets & towels (no stuffing)
• Canned cat or dog food
• Dog treats (mini Milk Bones preferred)
• Dog toys (Benebones & Kongs needed)
• Peanut butter (no xylitol)
Let’s make year two even bigger than the first.

Can’t play, but want to help out? Below is a list of donations items for the Haven Humane.
-Blankets/towels (no stuffing)
-Canned cat/dog/puppy/kitten food (any kind is fine!)
-Dog treats (mini Milk Bones work best, but any treats are greatly appreciated)
-Dog toys (we need Benebones and Kongs specifically, but any dog toy is also greatly appreciated!)
