🔥 An MLP-Style Team Pickleball Showdown 🔥

Grab your paddle, rally your crew, and get ready to bring the hype—Riverview is hosting its first-ever MLP-style team event, and it’s going to be a blast!

💥 What’s MLP-style?

Inspired by Major League Pickleball, this format is all about fast-paced, team-based action with a competitive edge and a whole lot of fun.

Each match between teams includes:

1. Women’s Doubles

2. Men’s Doubles

3. Mixed Doubles #1

4. Mixed Doubles #2

If teams are tied 2–2 after those four matches… it’s Dreambreaker time!

• 🔄 All 4 players rotate in to play singles rally scoring to 21

• 🎾 Players swap in every 4 points

• 🧠 Strategy, stamina, and a little chaos = the ultimate tiebreaker!

🧢 Divisions & DUPR Guidelines:

To keep matchups competitive and fun, divisions will be based on combined team DUPR scores (sum of each player's doubles rating):

• 2.5–3.0 Division: Max combined DUPR = 12

• 3.0-3.5 Division: Max combined DUPR = 14

• 3.5-4.0 Division: Max combined DUPR = 16

• 4.0+ Division: Combined DUPR = 16+ (no cap)

👉 Don’t have a DUPR? No problem—we’ll help estimate your level based on league history or playing experience.

🤝 How to Register:

• Register as a team of 4 (2 men + 2 women)

• Or sign up as a pair or solo and we’ll do our best to match you with teammates of similar skill

• All players must play within their division level

• Cost: $35 per person
